Explores the diverse urban places that make up modern Europe, its historic development since the pre-industrial city, challenges and accomplishments of urbanization in Europe in recent decades and current accomplishments in achieving sustainable development.

International Perspectives In Urban and Regional Planning

Presents contemporary global and critical issues in urban and regional planning by carefully selecting critical topics such as inequality, immigration, and segregation, as well as case studies from around the world. Also encourages the evaluation and development of different strategies and corrective courses of action.
